Soothed to the Core
In addition to Forest View Primary School, Kibble Education also support those aged 11 to 18 who have experienced trauma at Kibble Education Secondary School in Paisley, near Glasgow. Of the 4 students who attended the Young Citizen Scientist workshops, one expressed interest in taking part, and created the team ‘Soothed to the Core’. Although the team managed to design their logo and brainstorm ideas for the tool, the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdowns unfortunately meant the team did not manage to complete the design of the tool.
This logo and image designed by the team was inspired by their experience of feeling soothed. This is also consistent with our research finding that water features appear to be one of the top themes amongst the soothing images submitted by members of the public.
